The Economic Ground on which I Stand

I have lately been asked more often than normal why I couch my economic belief system in various principles that others may not share. Why not share the economic conclusions some may find persuasive without the premises some may find unacceptable? It is a fair question. Someone reminded me recently that I answered it in a podcast last year and I thought this BRIEF clip would lay out my thinking on the subject. It is fundamental to my beliefs about economics, but also about, well, everything. And if there is any subject in need of a firm foundation before commencing construction, it is economics.
