I do not believe it is necessary to impugn President Obama's motives about this catastrophically stupid idea of randomly forgiving massive amounts of student loan debt (and since there is no collateral, and the universities have been paid, this "forgiveness" is called "a transfer of payments" - and guess who the payer is - YOU!).Be that as it may, I believe Obama actually thinks he's helping these people. The need of the hour is a pro-growth economic agenda that would actually see them get JOBS, and therefore be able to service the debt they took on, with dignity, and with a bright and prosperous future.The student loan scam perpetrated by the American university system and our federal government is the greatest fraud in history, and only real leadership rooted in empathy and vision and intelligence will have a chance of unwinding it.
